Allomed is a brand belonging to the company MEDIPOLE SA domiciled Chemin des terrasses 12, 1820 Montreux. This communication and confidentiality policy is valid for both the Allomed brand and the Medipole company.
If you transmit data to us, you are deemed to consent to such data transfers and by using our services, you expressly acknowledge that we may process your Personal Data in accordance with this communications and privacy policy.
Medipole acts as data controller of personal data collected on the application, in particular during the creation and management of the personal or professional user account, making appointments online, use of the application in general and billing.
This communication and confidentiality policy does not concern doctors and assisted telemedicine centers who act under the medical and professional confidentiality that governs their profession. Medipole cannot be held responsible for the way in which doctors and assisted telemedicine centers process your personal data.
Exchanges are subject to the following rules:
• Messages exchanged with patients are protected by medical and professional confidentiality.
• By communicating by email or via our site, you give your consent to transmit the data to the doctors registered on our application. They will be read and processed by the latter who, if necessary, will transmit them to their colleagues.
• We aim to respond to you as quickly as possible. However, we do not guarantee any delay; do not use email and our forms for urgent messages. In the event of an emergency, you must call your doctor, an emergency service or 144
• Email and forms are reserved for the exchange of administrative information, not for medical questions.
• The patient is aware that anyone who has access to his email will be able to read the messages sent to him.
• Email is not encrypted and can be intercepted by malicious people.
Collection of your data
Your personal data is collected by you or for a loved one, provided that you have the right to transmit their information to us (legal representative of a minor) when you register on our application.
If you do not wish to provide us with the requested information, if you do not agree with our communication and confidentiality policy and/or our general conditions, you should not use our application.
Automatic collection of your data
When you access and browse Allomed, we may collect and use certain information about your device and your use of this digital application. The information collected may include your IP address, your device's unique identifier, location data, information about cookies we may have stored on your device and information about the pages visited, search terms entered or searches. links clicked within Allomed.
Respect for medical confidentiality
We do everything we can to ensure the security and protection of the confidentiality of your data. All doctors and assisted telemedicine centers working with Allomed as well as all our collaborators are bound by a legal obligation to maintain professional secrecy. Your medical data is only used as part of your treatment.
When you transmit information to us via our application, it is considered sensitive data, in particular when you transmit to us, among other things, information concerning your health or your private life. We protect the data that you transmit to us in a special manner in order to respect medical confidentiality as well as the federal law on data protection.
Sharing your personal data
We share your personal data with doctors working on our application.
Doctors are solely responsible for processing your personal data in the context of a treatment or consultation, including determining who within their organization has access to your personal data.

We use subcontracted service providers, such as communications and IT/software service providers who process your personal data as part of the services they provide to us. All service providers are subject to confidentiality obligations and are bound by data processing contracts.
In the event of a legal obligation (request from a judicial authority, obligation imposed by law), we will have to communicate your personal data. We may also use them in the context of legal action or defense or in the context of restructuring or transfer of assets.
If you use our application, we share your personal data with the doctors working with our application to allow it to manage your patient file.
Where is your data stored?
We host your data in Switzerland exclusively.
How long is my data kept?
We keep your data relating to medical services for 20 years, a legal obligation.
Your rights
You have the right, within the limits of compliance with the laws:
- Correct your personal data at any time through your user access to the application
- Withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data by simply terminating your user account
The foregoing does not limit any other rights you may have under applicable data protection legislation in certain circumstances.
How we protect your personal data?
We take technical and organizational security measures to ensure the security of the processing and confidentiality of personal data and to prevent unauthorized access and unauthorized transmission, modification or destruction of this data.

Final provisions
This communication policy, including any modification or addition, constitutes the entire agreement between Medipole and the patient. In the event of nullity of one of the clauses, the rest of the contract remains in force.
Applicable law and legal forum
Swiss law is exclusively applicable to this communication policy and to any dispute relating to this contract. In the event of a dispute, the forum is in Montreux.
